Development Process
The Jade team guides our clients through the process:
1. Evaluation
Initial evaluation of coal resource and local geology to asses suitability for UCG
2. Feasibility Study and Costing
Design UCG reactor, detailed project plan and financial model that includes ROI for investors
3. Pilot
Drilling of first well and ignition of the UCG reactor to establish the potential quality and quantity of syngas
4. Production
Optimise UCG reactor design and commence commercial drilling and syngas extraction
5. Offtake
Clean and prepare syngas for application e.g. electricity generation or feedstock for chemical plant
